3 watt 250 Lumin SuperBrite ww LED discrepencies
I have been using this type of LED to replace my power hungry RV lighting. when paired up with a dimmer unit, it is shocking how much light you get for so very little power use. 2 of these running in parallel will put out about the same amount of lighting as a 50w incandesent bulb but with hardly any power use. Incredible. As mentioned, the solder pads are different but not a problem to dab solder on the pad then onto the wire. I had ordered some earlier and found the led arrangement in the unit is different. These seem to have 6 large leds in a circle type arrangement. The ones purchased previously had larger solder terms and the 6 leds were smaller, 3 in a row, two rows arrangement. The rating is the same but I dont have a light meter, however, these with the LEDs in a circle appear to the eye as brighter. Be careful with this current batch08-05-18, they are rated up to 12v dc and you WILL BURN IT OUT if you connect directly to a car battery which is generally a higher voltage. For long lasting light, back lighting, convert a desk lamp, these are pretty decent. What a savings in power use for the amount of light put out.

Latest Batch Downgraded
I am a past fan, used these 3 times before, but the latest batch I received is of lower quality, ie the already tricky solder pads are even smaller now, really tricky to solder, and one unit was inop. Too delicate for my applications now, im afraid.

Modded for continuous, confined space
Just an update-I had a plastic taillight housing melt, LED never failed!where they were in a warm, confined areatrunk top. I did have em on 12.6v, so I have installed the LED Drivers, 3W Output, 12VDC Input Item #: 31556 PS for this tight, hot ambient. Working great.

250 Lumen 3 w
I tried these with 19016 HK passive heatsinks. Glued on with thermal epoxy, they fit nicely. Drove off battery 12.6 v, a bit above Vf spec. So far endured 12 hrs without current limitting. They do get hot, Im overdriving them. A bit tricky soldering to the flush pads.

Great value 3w
I have used some replacing automotive tail and turn bulbs, mounted on No 19016 BGA passive heatsink. No current limiting . They survive so far.... Note the solder pads are small, flush and tricky.
