Circuit uses matched Fiber-optic transmitter & receiver pair & a special fiber-optic "Y" to provide simultaneous two way communication. Kit uses a microphone & IC to modulate a LED. Receiver demodulates the light & drives the provided speakers. 11ft of 1mm plastic cable supplied but boards will drive up to 100m of cable. Runs on 9V battery (2 needed) or 9-12V AC/DC plug supplies.
