these 31867 SP mini cube speakers are quite capable, accepting the basic physics that small cones like these will not be producing any discernable low end ... I purchased a pair of these along with equally mini 33087 MI audio amp much earlier this year, tested them briefly and set them aside ... now, months later, I hooked them up to a 2.1 Class D audio amp which produces 100W for its subwoofer channel and 2x 50W channels with built-in high pass filtering for upper range Left and Right speakers, connecting these mini cube speakers to the L + R ... again, I was amazed at the sound they can produce without any distortion, complimenting a 10 inch JBL subwoofer the amp was driving surprisingly well at pretty high volume!
