OK For Arduino
I tried to interface this device with a PIC SPI, and found it impossible to deal with. Not even the firmware version register would send the correct byte value. If you are using an Arduino and you download existing code libraries, you can probably get it to work, but otherwise, review the MCRF522 datasheet first. Its completely incomprehensible unless you are already an expert. Glad I spent only $5 on it.
