Another part identical to my kit parts, and suitable for use too.
This is the same female RCA jack a well known loudspeaker amp kit retailer/builder uses. They charge more for the same exact part. These are pretty good and good for the price. They are being used for the spring reverberation send and return lines and the foot switch jacks. A shielded conductor goes to and from the reverb tank and to the reverb foot switch. An unshielded wire goes to the tremolo on/off foot switch. I have had no problems with these at all, and will continue to use them in the future! FYI, If you put the tremolo switch wire inside the shield with the reverb switch wire, your reverb signal will pulsate at the LFOs set frequency, so make your cords the right way! I use a shielded cable with a single 20 gauge wire, pulled into a 1/4 PVC sleeve, and two push on push off SPST foot switches in a cast box or a sheet metal box. If I have channel switching or a fat or distortion switch we design accordingly and usually go to a DIN type jack & plug. The RCA jacks are a Fender amp type design feature, and these do the job quite well.
