For household use only?
Worked great at 115V. Watt meter readings were very much low at 208V.

RE: Re: split phase power measurement
Correction to review by Hal Chamberlin: This particular meter does not use an external current transformer, so it can only be used to measure a single phase. If you check the 360 degree view, you will see that it has two terminals for current sense.

Re split phase power measurement
Actually one CAN measure total power in a typical domestic 120-0-120V split-phase power system. Wire up for single phase measurement per the instructions. Then thread the hot current-carrying wire from the other phase through the current transformer in the OPPOSITE direction. The current transformer will then respond to the sum of the two currents.

Great product | ||
Used to monitor current changes in small fluorescent ballasts. Excellent item.
Does what it says, but theres a catch
This is a neat little meter, and it does what it says well. Heres the catch: the current metering is on one phase only, and if you intend to monitor a common household, you will only get half of the picture. Perfect for a load that pulls of both phases 220V, but not so much for watching you houses energy usage.
