As of August 2018 the State of California has changed the requirements of the “Prop 65” law. We now must list on our website any possible chemicals the can cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive problem.

The specs indicate 20A minimum and measures up to 99.9A. This meter is probably good for the range, but not for low current measurement. | ||

Inaccurate AC Current Display | ||
I bought two of these meters and installed one of them in the power distribution panel for my shop so I could monitor the current draw of my power equipment and avoid blown fuses. The Voltage readout works well and agrees very closely with two other MPJA AC meter modules 32404 ME and 31496 ME I bought for other purposes. The Current readout however is very inaccurate at low currents. In particular, it reads 0.0A until the actual current is well over 2 amps and continues to read low at higher currents up to 12 amps, the highest I checked. This was the case with both 35280 ME modules I had. | ||
