Actually, not so easy to mount
The ones I received had a threaded shaft 1.5 mm less in diameter than the head. That meant I had to drill a very precise hole, no slop in order to assure head did not fall thru panel. Then I had to invent a tool to tighten the threaded collar. Ended up using forceps. Sanded the solder lug with 1000 grit, applied flux and used a 565 degree iron with old school leaded solder. Worked well, no melting though I did stick a banana plug into jack before soldering to wick heat away.

solders well with some work
The plastic is lightweight and will deform under too much heat. The tabs are covered with a layer of something thats nearly invisible and must be removed before soldering by scraping or filing. Heat sink them with a banana in the socket and a clamp on the tab, and use a hot iron and be quick.

Worked well
I got these for a DAQ box and they worked fine. You can not solder to them without deforming the plastic but they worked good with 1/4 crimp-on quick connects.

Safety Banana Jacks not intended for soldering
These jacks look great and are easy to mount. Its worth mentioning that its almost impossible to solder to the solder tab on these - the metal is apparently impervious to ordinary rosin-core solder. Perhaps theyre really meant for crimp-on spade connectors? At any rate, I was eventually able to solder to them, but theyd gotten so hot in the process that the plastic deformed.

EU2000i parallel cable
Bought these to build a 12ga parallel cable for my Honda eu2000i generators. Works well.
