What can I say. Great motor controller for DC motors. It is now deployed as a sub assembly in our product. Fuse protected to our specifications.
After two 12 volt 12 amp power supplies fried, 20 amp fuse in ammmeter blew checking input load.
Hints in use
Nice variation is to use an audio taper or log taper pot instead of the linear for smoother control. You would do well to run the pot wires inside a shield if you go very far or near the motor leads. You dont want any switching trash to get back in. If youre mechanical, make it into a foot control.
Exactly what I wanted. Used it to control the speed of a 12 volt motor driving the table on my metal mill. Extended the control pot wires about 3 feet to mount in an easy to reach location. Speed adjusts smooth across the range. Good quality construction and parts. Connections were clearly and correctly marked. Not much else to say, it just works.
Does exactly what it said it would do and worked great .
