Datasheet needs correction
I bought two of these for an upcoming automotive project. Neither unit would trigger when following the info in the datasheet. The trigger pulse is actually a high-to-low transition and not visa-versa. After I discovered this, they work fine and will likely be suitable for my intended purpose. Five stars for the product, four stars for the incorrect info.

Lots of applications !
Built one for the garage for parking. Built one for the RV to measure distance in front for parking. Built one for a Stamp Robot. Works great and I have a few more ready for other apps.

The possibilities are endless with this sensor.
So far, I have used these sensors for two projects using Arduinos. 1. I have one set up to let me know how far Ive backed into the garage. 2. I made a Fast-Pitch game for parties. The sensor can measure the distance of a baseball between two intervals and then calculate the speed of the ball. Lots of fun.
