As of August 2018 the State of California has changed the requirements of the “Prop 65” law. We now must list on our website any possible chemicals the can cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive problem.
As an example:
ABS plastic contains styrene
PVC wire insulation can contain Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP)
electrolytic capacitors can contain Ethylene glycol
Brass can contain Lead
flame retardant pc boards can contain Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA)
Aluminum alloys can contain Chromium
To put it simply we are a small company and do not have the resources to test every single part, so we list every thing as hazardous. Please recycle all electronic parts responsibly and under no circumstance eat, drink or smoke these parts and wash your hands after touching!
Handy little board for prototyping my circuits, would recommend.

WARNING - Might not fit a 40-pin DIP dual in-line package
Ordered 5 of these. They must have been from a mixed lot. Two were OK, but I noticed their male-female side-clips did not align with the other three and could not be side joined. The other three were longer, and their hole-to-hole spacing along the long dimension were sufficiently too long that you can cannot fit a 40-pin DIP into it without bending the end pins. In 1.9 inches the pin spacing of a 40-pin DIP the holes are off by about 1/3rd of a hole.

Nice Breadboard
I have several of these boards and I just now had to retire one of them because the pins just were too loose. Years-of-Use. I love the fact that this new one snaps together with my old ones. What a second blessing. Where has MPJA been all my life?
