As of August 2018 the State of California has changed the requirements of the “Prop 65” law. We now must list on our website any possible chemicals the can cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive problem.
As an example:
ABS plastic contains styrene

To put it simply we are a small company and do not have the resources to test every single part, so we list every thing as hazardous. Please recycle all electronic parts responsibly and under no circumstance eat, drink or smoke these parts and wash your hands after touching!
I like these long strip white LEDs but unfotunately the encapsulation yellows with time. Outdoor or indoor, so it seems to be dependant on the LED emission not sunlight.

Decent strip, poor adhesive
Cool white LEDs help with undercabinet kitchen countertop lighting, though they are not as bright as I had expected. Adhesive is rather poor; I had to tape the ends and transitions around cabinet edges with Scotch tape.

Brighten up dark refrigerator
I added two 3 foot strips of these to the wifes new refigerator to increase lighting in the lower compartments where fruits and veggies are stored. These have a very strong adhesive that withstands the cold just fine. The total current draw was just over .5 Amp. What a difference it made!
