The module uses PCF8591 8-bit CMOS data acquisition IC to support 4-channel Analog to Digital voltage input and 1 channel Digital to Analog Output.
I2C Serial communication to controller. (Address Pins A0-2 are fixed 000 (GND) on this Board) NOTE: This module is controlled by microcontroller (Arduino, Raspberry etc.) and requires you to write the software.Suggest you download the Datasheet
for the PCF8591 (36806MP Data) from our website
Power: 2.5-6VDC
ADC Input: 0-5V (4 analog inputs can be programmed as single-ended or differential input)
Sampling rate is determined by I2C Bus rate
Automatic increment channel selection
The module has 3 jumper selectable onboard sensors that you can use (These, when enabled, will use 1-3 of the ADC inputs)
Photoresistor, (5537) Ccollects accurate values of ambient light intensity
Thermistor, (MF58) Collects values of ambient temperature
Potentiometer, 0-Vcc voltage source,
DAC ouptut is ~ Vcc/255 x data (value) L: 1-3/4" W: 15/16" H: 1/2" WT: .02

As of August 2018 the State of California has changed the requirements of the “Prop 65” law. We now must list on our website any possible chemicals the can cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive problem.
As an example:
ABS plastic contains styrene
PVC wire insulation can contain Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP)
electrolytic capacitors can contain Ethylene glycol
Brass can contain Lead
flame retardant pc boards can contain Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA)
Aluminum alloys can contain Chromium
To put it simply we are a small company and do not have the resources to test every single part, so we list every thing as hazardous. Please recycle all electronic parts responsibly and under no circumstance eat, drink or smoke these parts and wash your hands after touching!
