|Nicely made unit. Be careful not to drop them or you may cause air gaps between the stages that will reduce cooling/heat transfer effectiveness.
I use mine to cool a camera module for a night sky camera. I can not fairly comment on the free air cooling ability since I run mine in an evacuated enclosure. I will say that I had to be careful so I did not cold damage the camera module. I control the peltier with a MPJA 32764 temp controller. When I power up the peltier the first time running in a vacuum it bottomed out the temp controller display before I realized it. Fortunately the camera module electronics were not damage with a brief visit to well beyond -60F. The waste heat is sunk into the aluminum casing to keep the camera window dew and frost free. I believe the spec claiming a 107c possible differential. The speed at which it chilled the camera module in a vacuum makes be believe it would work well for more common uses at normal atmospheric pressure.|
