Not so great for outside use |
| Good, visible scale. I wanted to use this outside on a covered porch, but it doesnt work well horizontally. You have to go out and tap it. Installed vertically, it works like a champ. |

| This is an outstanding value. The accuracy and quality of the thermometer is excellent. It arrived well-packed, and has worked perfectly ever since I put it in an outside plant container to monitor its soil temperature. The dial is large and very easy-to-read. |
